Funkin Cocktails is aiming to take the stress out of mixology this summer with the launch of a range of RTD nitro canned cocktails for the on-trade.
The range, which is being introduced this month, comprises four drinks: Espresso Martini, Passion Fruit Martini, Amaretto Sour and Pink Gin Fizz.
Each 200ml serve has an ABV of 5% and is said to deliver “a creamy foam head and smooth, velvety mouthfeel, which is usually only achieved through shaking a cocktail”.
With around eight million consumers drinking cocktails on a night out, according to CGA data, Ben Anderson, marketing director at the AG Barr-owned brand, said the drinks would help licensees to capitalise on the demand for cocktails.
He said: “Our product development team has worked tirelessly to ensure that Funkin nitro canned cocktails deliver the best overall drinking experience compared to anything else on the market.
“Funkin nitro canned cocktails are perfectly suited to outlets wishing to serve cocktails but that don’t have the necessary tools or trained staff.”
