Glasgow’s West Brewery marked the launch of its new Haus Pilsner by giving away 1000 free pints at some of the brewery’s favourite pubs last month.
Customers could claim their free pint of Haus Pilsner by asking for ‘one on the haus’ at the brewery’s own West on the Green and Redmonds on Duke Street, both in Glasgow’s east end, or at the Montgomerie Arms in East Kilbride, or Teuchters, on William Street in Edinburgh.
Haus Pilsner is described as West’s take on a classic – ‘a clean, crisp pilsner, bringing a modern aromatic flavour to a traditional German style’.
West Brewery’s managing director, Matt Munro, said: “This is a beer we’re incredibly proud of – brewed right here in Glasgow. We want people to taste it, love it, and raise a glass with us.”
Haus Pilsner is available in 330ml bottles and 50ltr kegs.
