Dalgleish evolves Amuse to offer a ‘more relaxed and flexible’ experience

Chef Kevin Dalgleish

Aberdeen restaurant Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish has unveiled its newly refurbished bar area, offering a ‘more relaxed and flexible experience’ for guests.

A keystone of Aberdeen’s dining scene, Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish is said to be evolving, while ‘staying true to its ethos of delivering exceptional hospitality and showcasing the best regional produce’.

The new area, to the front of Dalgleish’s venue, is designed to accommodate 15 to 18 guests, in an ‘elegant yet casual’ setting where they can explore Amuse’s extensive whisky collection and curated wine list.

There’s also a selection of creative cocktails, helpfully named after their key flavours, such as ‘Strawberry’, which features gin, earl gray, almond vanilla and, of course, strawberry.

GM of Amuse, Nicola Brown, said: “We wanted to create a space where guests can enjoy the quality and atmosphere of Amuse in a more informal way.

“The Bar gives people more reasons to drop in — whether it’s for a glass of wine, a signature cocktail, or to sample some light bites — all without needing to book a full dining experience.”
