Miami-style burger brand, SoBe Burgers, opened its first outlet in Edinburgh last weekend, with a big burger giveaway to its first 50 customers, then a 50% discount for the rest of its opening weekend.
The casual burger brand, founded in London in 2019, now has 11 sites across the UK, and 200 delivery outlets – backing its claim to be the fastest growing burger brand in Britain.

SoBe – short for South Beach, Miami – specialises in the ‘smash-burger’ style that school friends Tom Ducker and Alex M. encountered while on holiday in the United States, then entrepreneurially resolved to bring to life on this side of the Atlantic.
The brand’s signature serves include double cheeseburgers elevated by a selection of mayonnaise sauces, including umami truffle, confit garlic or pickled green chillies.

All the burgers can be made vegan, and there’s also selection made with crispy buttermilk coated chicken tenders, and seven different types of fries including truffle fries served with tyat truffle mayo, crispy onions and chives. The full menu is also Halal friendly.
Open now at 75 Lothian Road, for sit-in and takeaway, til 3am on weekends and 1am weekdays, Edinburgh’s inaugural SoBe aims to be the go-to place for a late night burger, with 20% off after 11pm every day.
