To celebrate The Glasgow Distillery’s award-winning spirits – and showcase their versatility in cocktails – this weekend will see an exclusive event hosted by Glasgow’s Rascal cocktail bar.
On Sunday 1st of December, Rascal’s bartenders will be serving up a selection of cocktails featuring the Glasgow Distillery’s premium spirits, including its renowned Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, G52 Botanical Vodka and Banditti Club Rum.
Since opening in October 2023, on Woodlands Rd at the start of the city’s west end, Rascal has gained a reputation as a mixology hotspot, with innovative drinks and an intimate atmosphere.
This weekend’s collaboration with the Glasgow Distillery promises an evening of expertly crafted cocktails, with commentary and no small measure of entertainment from both Rascal’s founders and the distillery’s team of spirit experts.
On the menu will be six bespoke cocktails fusing Glasgow’s spiced rum, coffee botanical vodka and single malt whisky with unique ingredients – including some of Rascal’s one-of-a-kind home-made flavour infusions – as well as drams of spirits with the distillery’s own innovative cask finishes
Global marketing manager at The Glasgow Distillery, Sebastian Bunford Jones, said: “This collaboration is a celebration of craft and creativity, and we’re thrilled to partner with Rascal for this special event.
“At The Glasgow Distillery, we’re passionate about creating spirits that inspire, and Rascal shares our commitment to quality and innovation. Together, we’re excited to showcase the versatility of our spirits in an intimate setting that brings them to life in fresh and exciting ways.”
Founder of Rascal Bar, Jack Cain, added: “We’re all about creating unique and memorable experiences for our guests, and partnering with The Glasgow Distillery allows us to take that to the next level.
“Their incredible spirits open up so many possibilities behind the bar, and we can’t wait to share some fantastic new cocktails with attendees.”
The showcase event, running from 2pm til 10pm on Sunday the 1st of December, promises to be ‘an intimate and engaging experience’ for cocktail enthusiasts and spirit lovers alike.
