The Redgarth, a pub and restaurant with letting rooms in Oldmeldrum, Inverurie, is now up for sale through Christie & Co.
Well positioned within the picturesque, expanding north-east village, the inn is said to have built an outstanding reputation in Aberdeenshire for its food and drink offerings.
The Redgarth is also popular as a business and holiday destination, being handy for the area’s castle and whisky trails, including the local Glen Garioch Distillery – one of the oldest in Scotland.
With six large en suite letting rooms furnished to a very high standard, two of which enjoy views of the eastern Grampians including the Bennachie range, the inn is said to have been lovingly cared for by the owner, Stuart Singer, who now plans to retire, offering a new owner a ‘unique opportunity to mix work and a rural lifestyle’.
