AYRSHIRE’S Glenapp Castle has been awarded ‘Hotel of the Year’ by UK-wide premium hospitality marketing organisation PoB Hotels.
Announced at PoB’s annual conference, the accolade is said to be for a hotel that has achieved ‘the highest levels of hospitality, and has a proven track record in creating exceptional guest experiences’.
PoB, which markets an exclusive collection of top-end independent hotels across the British Isles, assesses its member hotels through an annual mystery guest inspection process.

This year, Glenapp Castle has continued to prioritise that impeccable guest experience, as demonstrated on the BBC series Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, ensuring that the hotel, and indeed, the Ayrshire coast area, is becoming a ‘must visit’ destination.
