Tennent’s has teamed up with SEPA and 2050 Climate Group to invite people for a pint and a chat about climate change.
Pint and A Plan is a series of events designed to get people talking about and taking action on climate change with events particularly aimed at those who are new to taking climate action or simply don’t know where to begin.
The events will be held in pubs across Scotland, kicking off at 3pm on 25th September at Market Bar in Dundee.
Future events are already planned for Inverness on 30th October and the Borders on 27th November.
The meetings will include speakers on three main topics, including consumption, travel and finance followed by small group discussions. They are open to people aged over 18 and are free to attend but ticketed.
Tennent’s senior brand manager, Cameron Matthews, said: “As one of Scotland’s oldest businesses, we take our part in the fight against climate change very seriously and recognise the wider role we can play in encouraging consumers to consider their own environmental impacts.
“We’ve already made a number of improvements as part of our Life is Bigger than Beer campaign, but we know there’s still a lot of work to be done now and in the years to come.”
Full details of the series and tickets are available at Eventbrite.
