Fruit flavours for summer

Halewood expands Whitley Neill range with two additions

The new Pineapple and Peach variants were introduced ahead of the summer season.

HALEWOOD Artisanal Spirits is expanding its Whitley Neill gin range with the addition of two new products.

The new Pineapple and Peach gins are said to have been inspired by brand founder Johnny Neill’s travels to the Americas and South Africa.

The Pineapple gin is distilled using Costa Rican pineapples and is being promoted as ideal for mixing with light tonics, lemonade or elderflower, or for use in cocktails such as the Pina Colada or French Martini.

The Peach variant, meanwhile, is described as balancing citrus and juniper notes with a “tropical peach flavour”.

The gin is being promoted as a serve with mixers or for inclusion in cocktails such as the Peach Bellini.

Both new gins are bottled at 43% ABV.

They join the growing Whitley Neill range, which also includes Rhubarb & Ginger, Blood Orange, Raspberry, Lemongrass & Ginger and Gooseberry gins.

Last summer the company introduced Watermelon & Kiwi and Mango & Lime variants.

“Tropical flavours are continuing to perform well in the spirits category, with our Whitley Neill Watermelon & Kiwi and Mango & Lime gins that we launched last summer proving to be some of our fastest selling flavours,” said Halewood Artisanal Spirits marketing director, James Stocker.

“Our new Pineapple and Peach gins continue to tap into this trend for tropical flavour combinations with brilliant, versatile liquids which we’re confident will prove extremely popular with consumers as we approach the spring/summer months.”
