BUZZWORKS Holdings, the independent Scottish hospitality group, is hosting an Easter raffle to raise money for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
The charity initiative will see customers entering a prize draw to win a giant Easter egg. They can buy a strip of raffle tickets for ÂŁ1 each, with the winner announced on Easter Sunday.
Buzzworks is aiming to raise around ÂŁ2500 for the appeal through the raffle and has pledged to match 50% of the total raised.
The initiative is taking place across seven of the company’s venues, with tickets able to be purchased in any of the participating venues (Vic’s & The Vine in Prestwick, Scotts Troon and Largs, The Corner House in Kilwinning, The Coach House in Bridge of Weir, The Mill House in Stewarton, Scotts South Queensferry and The Bridge Inn Linlithgow).
“As a business we have always been proud of the support both our team and customers show when it comes to charity, and this Easter we are keen to help where we can in supporting those who are directly affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine,” said Buzzworks managing director, Kenny Blair.
“The work The British Red Cross do is vital, and I am hopeful our small Easter contribution to the crisis will help provide essential supplies to the people who need it most. Our team are also looking forward to lending their support to those in need through a variety of challenges and activities over the coming months.”
