A LIGHTHOUSE in Girvan is among those that have been transformed as William Grant & Sons celebrates the launch of its newest Hendrick’s gin.
Neptunia Gin was said to have been inspired by master distiller Lesley Gracie’s coastal walks and features botanicals sourced from the Scottish coastline.
To promote the limited edition release, William Grant & Sons commissioned artist Claire Luxton to transform three lighthouses around the UK (in Girvan, East Sussex and The Wirral, respectively) into art installations. Luxton created a unique illustration for each location, which were then projected onto the respective lighthouses.
James Keen, senior brand manager at William Grant & Sons, said: “At Hendrick’s Gin, we aim to inspire the curious to seek out the unconventional – and what better way to celebrate the launch of Hendrick’s Neptunia Gin and the beauty of our coastlines that inspired the delicious liquid, than with stunning, intriguing art installations across the UK’s iconic lighthouses.”
