CHEFS in Scotland have access to a free management training programme after a new government-funded scheme opened for applications.
The Chef Management & Leadership Training Programme has been designed for head chefs and aspiring head chefs. A 15-hour programme split across five weekly sessions between 21st February and 21st March, the course will cover skills such as leading a team, HR practices, recruitment, training and development and staff retention.
It was developed by People 1st International on behalf of Skills Development Scotland and has been funded by the Scottish Government.
