THE Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel is under new management as the hotel changes its name from the Hilton Grosvenor.
7 Hospitality Management (7H) was appointed by hotel owner the Mastcraft Group to handle the day-to-day running of the business. The company, which manages hotels including the Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen, Brander Lodge Hotel in Taynuilt and Eight Acres Hotel in Elgin, has retained all staff at the Grosvenor, in the west end of the city, with former general manager Gordon Fraser returning to the property to head the team.
Richard Ellison, managing director of 7H, said: “We are delighted with the appointment of 7H to support the hotel owners in helping to realise the significant potential in this high-end city centre, four star hotel.
“The hotel has a lot of memories for many people in Glasgow and our hotel team will ensure that we continue to deliver a true Glasgow hospitality welcome.”
