Scottish brewer’s new look

SCOTTISH brewer Innis & Gunn has redesigned the branding and packaging for its core range, with new branded glassware available to order from this month.

The brewer said the new look is designed to differentiate the range in what is a competitive category, as well as highlighting the premium nature of the products.

It incorporates some existing design elements – such as the brand’s established colours and ‘flourishes’ – while using features such as a bolder font to achieve stand-out.

In addition to new branded glassware, the brewer will be distributing a range of promotional materials to the on-trade, including new font lenses, bar runners, drip mats and T-shirts.

Venues with outdoor areas will also be able to request branded barriers and parasols.

Innis & Gunn said that the new design was chosen after market research in the UK and Canada – one of the company’s key export markets.

“The new look for our Lager Beer and IPA range is bold, vibrant and premium and better matches the award-winning beer,” said Innis & Gunn founder and master brewer, Dougal Gunn Sharp.

“This portfolio of beers and their associated glassware and POS have become so recognisable for their flourishes and colourways, we wanted to evolve, elevate and modernise as we continue to push forward with our ambitious growth plans, of which this activity is a key part.”
