SOCIALISING with mates is at the heart of the new festive campaign for WKD.
The RTD brand’s Merry ChristMATES campaign, running on social media channels, is themed around friends catching up over Christmas. A series of videos featuring brand ambassador – and former Love Island contestant – Chris Taylor as well as Love Island contestants Brad McClelland and Dale Mehmet will be released in the coming weeks, accompanied by a number of competitions offering prizes for entrants and their friends.
Prizes include WKD Christmas jumpers, bobble hats and branded Christmas stockings.
Alison Gray, head of brand for WKD at SHS Drinks, said: “Last year, WKD consumers got to spend some enforced quality time at Christmas with their close family only. Memorable and different as that will have been, we know that fans of WKD like nothing more than to be out and about with their mates to make the absolute most of the festive season.
