TRADE group UK Hospitality will host an event at COP 26 next month to discuss the industry’s climate ambitions.
The event, between 2pm and 6pm on Wednesday 10th November at Revolution Glasgow, will be free to attend and feature contributions from speakers including UK Hospitality chief executive, Kate Nicholls, Mark Chapman of Zero Carbon Forum and Scottish tourism minister, Ivan McKee.
There will also be a panel discussion where representatives from companies including IHG Hotels, BrewDog and Burger King will discuss the challenges involved in becoming more sustainable.
Nicholls said COP 26 “will be a significant showcase for the UK and this event is an opportunity for our industry to shine a light on the good work that is being done to ensure a sustainable future for all of us”.
“It is vital that the entire industry is represented, and that everyone participates in a conversation that will shape the future of our industry and the country, and so we urge anyone who is interested in attending to come along and be part of something significant,” said Nicholls.
