GLASGOW firm Smith & Clough handled the sale of the four-star Blackaddie House Hotel in Dumfries & Galloway.
As well as the eight-bedroom hotel, the property includes three self-catering cottages and an owner’s cottage.
Director Graeme Smith said: “Having sold the business to our clients in 2007 I was delighted to be instructed to sell it again on their behalf.
“After a successful marketing campaign, the hotel was sold to an experienced operator from south of the border for an undisclosed sum, with the funding being secured by David Grant of Axis Commercial Finance.
“Following many years in the trade, my clients can now enjoy a well-earned retirement.”
