Lee makes Edinburgh move with Bonnie & Wild

CHEF Jimmy Lee is the latest Glasgow operator to take space at Edinburgh food hall Bonnie & Wild.

Lee will take his Salt & Chilli Oriental brand to the development when it opens next month, offering a range of Cantonese-style street food dishes.

The chef operates a Salt & Chilli outlet in Glasgow’s west end as well as the Lychee Oriental restaurant in the city centre. The Bonnie & Wild Scottish Marketplace, part of the larger St James Quarter development, will see a range of restaurant businesses operating food stalls  around a central food hall. Other confirmed names include The Gannet and Creel Caught by Gary Maclean.

“I absolutely love Edinburgh and consider it one of the best food cities in the UK,” said Lee.

“I’m so excited to introduce Salt & Chilli Oriental to St James Quarter within the incredible new Bonnie & Wild Scottish marketplace. The menu will highlight delicious Hong Kong-style streetside snacks as well as comforting British-Cantonese cuisines that we all love and adore.”
