SPEYSIDE distillery The Glenlivet has given a sneak peak inside its newly refurbished visitor centre ahead of the facility reopening to the public next month.
Parent company Pernod Ricard has spent the past 18 months extensively refurbishing the visitor centre and whisky fans will be able to sample distillery-exclusive bottlings as well as a range of Glenlivet cocktails in the refurbished space.
“At The Glenlivet we believe in pushing boundaries and breaking tradition, and this is certainly represented throughout this redesign,” said visitor centre manager, Linda Brown.
“I worked at the visitor experience when it was last refurbished 23 years ago, but this is something else! To tell the brand’s story in a truly authentic way, we have reinvigorated the original experience, striving to give whisky lovers the best possible time whilst visiting the distillery.
“We look forward to welcoming back our loyal fans, as well as new faces.”
The visitor centre will reopen to the public in July.
