Capital group buys west coast inn

THE group behind a number of Edinburgh bars has snapped up an inn on the west coast.

Kilderkin Group acquired the Creagan Inn in Appin in a deal brokered by Graham & Sibbald.

Located on the shores of Loch Creran, the inn comprises a 70-cover dining area and a 30-cover outdoor terrace. It was sold for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of offers in the region of £650,000.

Peter Seymour, head of hotel and leisure at Graham & Sibbald, said: “This was a highly successful marketing campaign, which we only started in July 2020. We were able to attract significant interest from across the UK and world, which resulted in a closing date in November 2020.”
