‘Buy one get two tree’ is just the tonic
THE firm behind Scottish tonic brand Cushiedoos is set to launch a ‘buy one get two tree’ initiative in a bid to play its part in tackling the global carbon crisis.
Edinburgh-based Cushiedoos has joined forces with Eden Reforestation Projects for the initiative, which will see two trees planted for every 24-bottle case of tonic sold. Tree planting will be taking place in Madagascar, Mozambique and Nicaragua.
Cushiedoos owner Andrew Ligertwood, who founded the quinine-free tonic in 2017, said: “We are still a small business and we hope this will form another key reason of why it is good to make Cushiedoos part of your buying choice.
“For our trade customers it’s a simple message: ‘buy one, get two tree’. We sell them a case of 24 bottles and as well as growing their business and improving its proposition they have the chance of doing good through their business operations too.”
