Glenapp Castle gears up for reopening

Ayrshire hotel set to unveil new restaurant and penthouse suite

A NEW restaurant and luxury penthouse suite are set to be unveiled when Ayrshire’s Glenapp Castle reopens on 17th May.

Occupying the entire top floor of the castle, The Endeavour is the hotel’s new 4500 sq ft self-contained suite comprising four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a lounge with dining room for up to 16 guests, a media room with seating for 12, a library, games room, sauna and a personal treatment room for massages and beauty treatments.

The Glenapp Castle team will also unveil the new Azelea Glasshouse Restaurant, located in the castle’s walled garden.

And a host of new activities has been added to those already on offer at the 17-bedroom Relais & Châteaux hotel, including axe throwing, coasteering, yoga, kayaking, digital detox, canoeing and forest bathing. Guests can also enjoy the castle’s 110-acre grounds with views of Ailsa Craig and the Mull of Kintyre.

Glenapp Castle managing director, Jill Chalmers, said the team has “been busy behind the scenes preparing and planning exciting new developments at the hotel” ahead of reopening.

“We are so excited to announce that we are reopening on 17th May and are particularly pleased with the levels of business we have on the books so far,” she said.

“With the launch of The Endeavour, the new Azelea Glasshouse Restaurant and several new activities and experiences available to our guests, we are hopeful that we will have a busy and exciting summer ahead.”
