Capital gain for guest house

A NEW owner is at the helm of Aynetree Guest House in Edinburgh following a deal brokered by commercial property firm Bruce & Co.

The guest house has six bedrooms, five of which have en suite facilities, and is located close to Arthur’s Seat and the Palace of Holyrood.

The business – which is said to benefit from repeat custom – had been run by its previous owners for 12 years and was sold due to their retirement.

Mike Firoozi, lead negotiator at Bruce & Co who handled the sale, said the new owner plans to “continue to run the guest house to its established high standard”. “I was glad I was able to guide our clients to a completion and help them free up some time to spend with their grandchildren,” he said.
