A HOTEL group has outlined the safety measures it has taken ahead of reopening in a walkthrough video.
The video by Cairn Group – whose portfolio includes The Stirling Highland hotel in Stirling, Cairn Hotel in Edinburgh and Station Hotel in Aberdeen – demonstrates its new procedures on cleanliness, social distancing, food and beverages, and staff training to be rolled out initially in the group’s premises in England but will be rolled out in its Scottish venues when they can reopen.
The group’s safety and hygiene measures include hand sanitiser stations, regular cleaning of “high-traffic areas” and a ten-stage deep-cleaning programme. A “Grab and Go” food and drinks service has been put in place and signage to encourage regular hand sanitisation and procedures to promote social distancing in lifts has also been introduced.
Donna Buckle, health and safety manager at Cairn Group, said: “Across all hotels, we have implemented stringent measures to ensure that our staff and guests remain safe. Our Stay with Confidence, Stay with Cairn video clearly communicates the key changes we have made, reassuring our customers that they can book with confidence and enjoy their stay with us.”
