THE company behind Inverness bars Bar One and Angels’ Share has launched a cocktail home delivery service which will feature a new range of cocktails.
Mix’d, created by Cru Holdings, offers a selection of 16 cocktails to be delivered on Thursdays to customers living in the postcode areas IV1 – IV6 and Fridays to households in the postcode areas IV12 – IV13. Customers can also pick up their cocktail orders from the operator’s venues Prime Steak & Seafood in Inverness and The Classroom in Nairn from Thursday to Sunday between 3pm and 8pm.
The new range of cocktails is inspired by the operator’s most popular serves and include a Raspberry Ripple Martini, Blood Orange Negroni, Candy Floss Cosmo, Rhubarb Gin Fizz, Singapore Sling and Bakewell Sour. Priced at £10 each, the mixes are delivered to customers in resealable pouches and serve two.
Scott Murray, managing director of Cru Holdings, said: “With the ongoing restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic so many businesses have been adapting and innovating, so bringing our cocktails to customers at home was a no-brainer for us.
“The mixologists behind our cocktail menus at Bar One and Scotch & Rye, led by Grant Murray, have put so much effort into making their mixes as delicious as possible and suitable for home storage.
“We have already launched Cru Kitchen, delivering food to customers who are missing dishes from our venues including burgers from Scotch & Rye and steak and seafood from Prime. It’s great to now be able to also offer a range of cocktails for people to enjoy at home and, while we can’t wait to welcome customers back to our venues, I hope Mix’d and Cru Kitchen make staying at home more enjoyable!”
