Toast bartenders at home with a Lucky Paloma

TEQUILA fans have the opportunity to raise a glass to their local bartender this Friday (May 22) thanks to Edinburgh bar duo Jason Scott and Mike Aikman.

The owners of Edinburgh bars Bramble, the Last Word and Lucky Liquor Co teamed with tequila brand Jose Cuervo to create a unique take on the Paloma cocktail in time for World Paloma Day on May 22. All profits from the cocktail, which can be ordered for home delivery, will go to industry charity The Drinks Trust.

The Keeping Faith With Paloma cocktail contains Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado, fresh lime juice, fresh golden grapefruit juice and agave syrup and is supplied with a bottle of Bon Accord/Lucky Liquor Co. Salted Pink Grapefruit Soda. When customers receive their bottles all they have to do is pour them into a highball glass filled with ice.

Each serving of Keeping Faith With Paloma is priced at £8, and any orders placed via Scott and Aikman’s drinks retail site, Mothership Scotland by 23.59 on May 19 will arrive in time for World Paloma Day.
