Coronavirus: Crieff Hydro family tunes up again for Clap For Our Carers

THE skirl of the pipes will be heard in the grounds of Crieff Hydro and beyond again tonight as the family behind the business continues to show its support for NHS workers and carers.

Stephen Leckie, chairman and chief executive of the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, and his children have played their bagpipes at the Perthshire resort each Thursday at 8pm as part of the weekly UK-wide Clap For Our Carers movement.

The family kicked off with a performance of Highland Cathedral on Thursday April 2, followed by Scotland the Brave last Thursday (April 9) – watch here.

They have pledged to pipe at the Perthshire resort every Thursday evening during the coronavirus lockdown.
