BUZZWORKS Holdings will open the doors of its twelfth venue this weekend.

The Duke, which is described as a “classic all-day café bar”, will open for business on January 25 in the former Lucky 7 site on John Finnie Street in Kilmarnock.

Described by the Ayrshire multiple operator as having “a casually eclectic interior with cosy sofas”, the venue will offer breakfast, brunch and dinner, alongside coffee and cocktails; the site will also feature a marble bar.

Former employee of the group’s Prestwick venue, Vic’s & The Vine, Brandon Van Rensburg, has taken up the role of GM of the café bar.

Kenny Blair, managing director of Buzzworks Holdings said: “We’re proud to be investing in Kilmarnock and providing a venue with relaxed surroundings and ample choice that can be enjoyed by a range of visitors.

“The Duke has been a unique project to work on and we can’t wait to officially open the doors and welcome our first customers.”
