CHRISTMAS came early for four-legged friends in East Lothian, thanks to licensee Graham Blaikie and the team at The Mercat Grill.
The venue hosted a fundraising breakfast earlier this month with all proceeds going to the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home.
More than 80 customers attended the event, with pooches in tow, raising more than £700 for the charity in the process.
There was a range of food and drink for customers, as well as treats and presents for the dogs.
Guests could also buy a copy of the Mercat’s charity calendar, which supports the dog and cat home.
Blaikie said the day was “a great opportunity to get together with other fido-loving folks, make new friends or come along with the family to our fun and festive event”.
