LICENSEES seeking a traditional Highland hostelry may be keen to view The Alexandra Hotel, overlooking Ballater village square.

Run by the current proprietors since 2008, the family-owned hotel in Royal Deeside, located within the Cairngorm National Park, is said to be “renowned for its uncompromising approach to attentive service” and has featured in the Good Beer Guide.

Set across three storeys, the hotel comprises five en suite letting rooms, a public bar and restaurant, as well as owner’s accommodation.

The restaurant, which can accommodate 35 diners, incorporates local produce, such as salmon and beef, into its menus.
