LICENSEES looking for a hotel that’s a stone’s throw from Loch Ness may be interested in the Richmond Hotel, in Fort Augustus.
Situated on the A82 near the Caledonian Canal, the hotel is said to be a “two or three-minute stroll” away from Loch Ness.
Featuring two separate entrances – one for the accommodation and one which leads to the dining area/bar – the hotel also comprises seven letting bedrooms, as well as a 78-capacity beer garden and a self-contained flat with its own entrance to the rear.
A two-bedroom house, located 50 yards from the hotel, is also included in the sale. Currently used as letting rooms, it could be utilised as owner’s accommodation, according to selling agent Cornerstone Business Agents.
David Higgins, director at Cornerstone Business Agents, which is marketing the hotel at a guide price of £725,000, said the business “is a very well presented property” in a location which “attracts visitors throughout the year”.
