A monster opportunity

Make the most of Grouse & Trout in Inverness-shire

The Steadings
The hotel near Inverness is said to have been substantially renovated by its current owners.

HIGHLAND hotel situated eight miles from the shores of Loch Ness has come onto the market for the first time since 2005.

Originally built in 1860, The Steadings is said to have been substantially renovated and developed over the last 14 years by its current owners – who now wish to retire.

The hotel, which is a short drive from Inverness, comprises nine letting rooms, The Grouse & Trout restaurant and bar, conservatory, owner’s accommodation as well as an acre of land, which contains landscaped gardens and a five pitch certified caravan site.

The 30-cover Grouse & Trout restaurant majors in quality, locally-sourced Scottish cuisine and is said to attract “a lot of local and loyal clientele”.

Gal Leslie, director, commercial and business property, at selling agent Bruce & Co, said: “The sale of The Steadings presents a truly unique opportunity to enhance a hugely successful business, with over a decade of successful development behind it.

“New owners would be able to greatly capitalise on the world-renowned surroundings, offering a unique retreat to a growing pool of clientele.”

Bruce & Co is seeking offers over £599,995 for the freehold of the property.
