THE flavour of wild peaches and the botanicals of the June flower have been infused with grape gin, G’Vine, to create a fruity liqueur, June by G’Vine.
Launched in the UK this month by distributor Paragon Brands, the 30% ABV liqueur is described as tasting of wild peaches and summer fruits and is the brainchild of distiller Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, the creator of Cîroc Vodka and G’Vine, and produced by his Cognac-based spirits firm Maison Villevert.
Chris Jones, managing director of Paragon Brands, said: “Jean-Sébastien and Maison Villevert have done an incredible job of capturing the tastes and aromas of fresh wild peaches and marrying them perfectly with a delicate balanced floral gin. This offers both traditional and contemporary gin drinkers something new and unique to add to their drinks repertoire, with excellent mixability beyond the usual tonic serve.”
