GOOD food and drink in lovely surroundings – that’s what the team behind a Port Seton pub is promising when the outlet reopens in July following a major refurbishment.

The former Wemyss Hotel will be relaunched as The Seaglass Inn after a £425,000 revamp of the premises by Heineken-owned Star Pubs & Bars and new operators, mother and daughter team Christine O’Brien and Sarah Couch.

Christine said the pub will be “unrecognisable” after the refurb. “Everything is changing; the inside will be much more stylish, welcoming and comfortable,” she said.

“We’re aiming to cater for the whole community and for all occasions.”
