Still shaking it up after two decades

The new-look Funkin branding

FUNKIN, the fruit puree and cocktail mixer brand, has introduced a new look across its range as the company marks its 20th anniversary.

The firm, which was set up by entrepreneur Alex Carlton and acquired by AG Barr in 2015, produces a range of purees, syrups and cocktail mixers, which only require the addition of spirits, as well as pre-mixed cocktails on tap and dried garnishes.

The new-look packaging features a uniform silver colour across the range, with each product sporting individual icons to depict ingredients and flavours.

“The Funkin brand was created with quality, consistency and innovation at its heart to enable a broad cross-section of the on-trade to create great-tasting cocktails,” said head of marketing, Ben Anderson.

“We know that not all bartenders have the time or ingredients to make everything from scratch so our Funkin products can help them satisfy the increasing consumer demand for great-looking and great-tasting cocktails.”

The company said it will be launching several more products this year, in addition to running training sessions and the latest round of its annual Innovation Champion cocktail competition.
