A FAMILY-operated Italian restaurant in Edinburgh’s Morningside has come on to the market for the first time in nearly a decade.
Nonna’s Kitchen, which is on the corner of Morningside Road and Church Hill Place, is a 42-cover eatery that has been operated by two generations of the Stornaiuolos family since 2010; the family previously operated the former Patio Restaurant on Hanover Street from 1986 until 2008.
The unit is described as a “bright, well-lit restaurant”, which also has a bar.
Barry McNeil of Cornerstone Business Agents, which is handling the sale, said: “This is an excellent trading location in one of the best neighbourhoods in Edinburgh. Although currently trading as a successful Italian restaurant, it would certainly suit a variety of different international cuisines and trading styles.”
The leasehold is priced at £150,000, with a current rental of £30,000 per annum.
