AYRSHIRE hospitality group Costley & Costley was commended for its commitment to young people during a recent ministerial visit.

The company was visited by Scottish minister for business, fair work and skills, Jamie Hepburn, who presented certificates to a number of staff for completing training courses.

One of which, delivered by Ayrshire College and funded by the Developing Young Workforce Ayrshire programme, was designed to highlight the range of careers for young people in the hospitality industry and was attended by part-time staff.

The other, financed by the Flexible Workforce Development Fund, was designed to develop young employees of the company.

The event, which was also attended by Costley & Costley chairman, Bill Costley, took place at the company’s flagship venue, Lochgreen House Hotel in Troon.
