IF you’ve ever toured or enjoyed a tasting at the Benromach Distillery in Forres you may have met Scotland’s newest Keeper of the Quaich.
Susan Colville, who was born and raised in Speyside, joined the Gordon & MacPhail-owned distillery in 2013 to head the facility’s team of tour guides.
She became a member of the select society, which “recognises those who have shown outstanding commitment to the Scotch whisky industry” at an exclusive ceremony at Blair Castle in Perthshire.
Colville said receiving the accolade during the distillery’s 20th anniversary year “is particularly special to me”.
