Cauldron of cocktails

THEMED cocktails will be the order of the night this Halloween, says the firm behind RTD brand WKD, which is providing operators with specially-created cauldrons to capitalise on the occasion.

As well as rolling out its 1.4-litre branded cauldrons across the on-trade, WKD is also offering a range of Halloween recipes, which are said to pair with spirits or soft drinks. The range includes: Cheeky Vamp (with WKD Blue); Manghoul (with WKD Mango Crush); Bloody Berry (with WKD Berry); and Venom (with WKD Blue).

A mixing guide will be provided to help staff prepare the cocktails “quickly and efficiently”. And brand owner SHS Drinks will also provide outlets with a range of Halloween POS items.

Amanda Grabham of SHS Drinks said Halloween “is becoming a bigger and bigger event in the on-trade calendar each year”.

“We’re reflecting this growing importance by providing licensees with in-outlet support that not only generates footfall and drives sales, but also helps create a great atmosphere and sense of occasion for consumers,” said Grabham.
