THE Adamson in St Andrews has appointed a new head chef.
Mat Majer takes over the kitchen at the venue after making the move from Edinburgh, where he worked at Baba in the Principal Charlotte Square Hotel.
Majer will introduce a new ‘market menu’ at The Adamson this month alongside new seasonal dishes for autumn.
Julie Lewis, owner of The Adamson, said: “Mat is a passionate chef with a brilliant track record within the Scottish restaurant scene.
“We are delighted to welcome him to our St Andrews family and are already tremendously impressed with his creativity.”
