THE firm behind mixers brand Franklin & Sons has unveiled four new ‘dual-flavoured’ premium tonic waters aimed squarely at ‘epicurious’ consumers.

With a focus on “discovery and experimentation”, the Epicurean Collection comprises four variants – Rosemary & Black Olive, Pink Grapefruit & Bergamot, Rhubarb & Hibiscus, and Elderflower & Cucumber, which Franklin & Sons said have been developed “to unlock new flavours and create a unique experience for consumers, while granting bartenders an unlimited opportunity to experiment and explore the possibilities created through flavour expressions”.

Taking inspiration from current drinks trends, the new range has been designed to work not only with gin, but a wide range of spirits – and to capitalise on key consumer trends, including lower ABV and cocktail serves.

Calli O’Brien, senior brand manager at Franklin & Sons, said: “Consumers are becoming more experimental on the back of the ever-expanding choice of gin flavours – as well as new brands.

“We have developed this collection with this in mind to push boundaries and create a better experience for consumers.

“Franklin & Sons’ new Epicurean Collection opens up new flavours not only with gin, but also with a breadth of other spirits, unlocking curiosity within both bartenders and consumers alike.”
