THE operator behind The Black Fox on Leith Walk in Edinburgh is to open a second unit after taking on the lease of The Constitution Bar & Restaurant in Leith.
The new owner is said to have “very exciting plans to adapt and push forward this already successful business”, according to Cornerstone Business Agents, which negotiated the new lease.
Barry McNeil, a director of Cornerstone, who handled the sale on behalf of the building’s owner, Peter Stewart, said there has been “an ongoing positive transformation of the Leith area and Constitution Street in particular”.
“Given that the tram extension in Edinburgh is poised to come to this area, it would seem that significant interest from operators looking to purchase an opportunity in the Leith area is substantially on the rise,” said McNeil.
