ABERDEEN City licensing board has launched a consultation as part of plans to establish an interim overprovision policy for off-sales premises.

The level of current off-sales provision in Aberdeen, the types of premises operating, and potential exceptions to any proposed overprovision policy are all under consideration as part of the consultation.

There are said to be around 200 licensed off-sales premises currently operating in Aberdeen.

The board has given until February 28 to respond to the consultation.
