Beer and pies central to new Glasgow bar

Pie & Brew has opened its doors on Glasgow’s Bath Street

A NEW venue specialising in craft beer and handmade pies has opened in Glasgow city centre.

Pie & Brew, located beneath the Abode Glasgow hotel on Bath Street, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm, offering a selection of craft beers and food as well as live music sets.

The range of craft beers includes Scottish-brewed draught options from Harviestoun, while deals include a flight of three third-pint glasses of draught beer for £4.50. All the bar’s pies are made in-house and include turnip and gravy for £7.

The Abode Glasgow is part of hotels group Andrew Brownsword Hotels, which operates properties across the UK. However, Pie & Brew is positioned as a stand-alone venue and is open to the general public as well as hotel guests.
