Jackson joins the vodka brand following a year-long stint at The Distillery Bar in London’s Notting Hill, and brings with her a wealth of experience from various roles in the hospitality sector.
Having begun her career in Edinburgh working for multiple operator Montpeliers, Jackson relocated to London and joined the Columbo Group, working on a range of jobs, including the cocktail menu at the Albert & Pearl and various drinks projects at The Breakfast Club.
As UK brand ambassador for Ketel One, Jackson will work on training, building brand awareness and developing the World Class programme alongside the wider Diageo Reserve brand ambassador team.
“I’ve been working closely with bartenders for a number of years, so I have a good understanding of their requirements, industry trends, as well as current consumer demand,” said Jackson.
Elsewhere, a new flavoured variant has been added to the Ketel One range in the UK.
Ketel One Oranje is a 40% ABV spirit which is said to have been infused with natural oils from Valencia and Mandarin oranges.
Described as having a “zesty orange freshness and crisp, aromatic finish”, Ketel One Oranje joins Ketel One Vodka and Ketel One Citroen in the range.
Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve GB, said the combination of citrus and warm floral hints makes Ketel One Oranje an ideal base in a vodka and soda as well as adding a twist to a number of cocktails.
“The launch of Ketel One Oranje is a reflection of the continued demand for new and innovative variants in the super-premium vodka category,” said Temperley.
