A NEW expression of London Dry gin Opihr is to be launched early next year.
Opihr Adventurers’ Edition is described as having a “more robust taste” with a “smooth, balanced mouth-feel” and a “rich woody spice and pepper finish”.
With an ABV of 42.5% – said to be a reference to the midway latitude of the locations from which the botanicals for Opihr Gin are sourced – Opihr Adventurers’ Edition was created by G&J Distillers’ master distiller Joanne Moore and will be available in travel retail from early 2018.
William Ovens, international commercial director at Opihr Gin owner Quintessential Brands, said: “Inspired by the Spice Route, adventurous discovery is at the heart of Opihr and with more and more consumers embracing adventurous travel these days, we wanted to celebrate this shared spirit of adventure and offer something truly unique to intrepid travellers.”
