THE team behind Edinburgh’s Chop House Bar & Butchery outlets is to open a seafood bar in one of the capital’s oldest pubs.
The Compass Group, which also operates Sygn and Monteiths in Edinburgh, will launch the White Horse Oyster & Seafood Bar on the site of the original White Horse Bar, which was established in 1742, next month.
Compass Group MD Mark Fraser said the new venue will have a “classic and relaxed offering where the ingredients take centre stage”.
