City veteran hits the market

The bar was established in 2000

A GLASGOW late night bar that has been operated by the same owner for 17 years is for sale.

Moskito, located on Bath Street, was first opened by current owner Neil Connolly in 2000 and is said to have built up a good reputation over the years.

Boasting a 3am late licence seven days a week, Moskito caters to a wide range of clientele – with DJs playing every Friday and Saturday and the bar also operating as a live sports venue.

In 2007 the business was extended into the neighbouring property – taking the bar’s total capacity to 578.

The property also benefits from an outdoor terrace to the front and an enclosed garden to the rear.

Jonathan Clough of Smith & Clough, which is marketing the property, said the firm is “expecting high-levels of interest in the sale”.

Offers in excess of £375,000 are sought for Moskito.
