OPERATORS looking for a substantial hotel business in a scenic location might be interested in the Atholl Arms Hotel.

Located in the Perthshire town of Dunkeld, the hotel comprises 17 bedrooms, a bar, a bistro – known as The Meeting Place – and a formal dining restaurant, The Riverview.

Current owners Neil and Christine Sinclair purchased The Atholl Arms Hotel in 2011, and have since refurbished the property and the terrace, which won the 2016 SLTN Best Outdoor Area Award.

The area boasts a dedicated bar with capacity for 80 covers, which overlooks the River Tay and the nearby five-arched Dunkeld bridge.

Commenting on the sale, Stuart Drysdale of Christie & Co said the Atholl Arms Hotel “presents a great opportunity for an investor or experienced operator to acquire a business with the potential for further strong growth producing a high level of return”.

Christie & Co is seeking £1.675 million for the freehold.
