OPERATORS looking for a versatile hotel business might be interested in the Auld Mill House in Dunfermline.

Set up to be run as a full service hotel, the property is said to offer the flexibility to trade under various configurations, including as a hotel, guest house or restaurant.

The property comprises a lounge bar with capacity for up to 40 people, a 30-cover dining room, and eight letting bedrooms, all of which feature en suite shower rooms; there’s also various service areas, including a kitchen and cellar.
Despite its rural location, the hotel is near a key route to and from Dunfermline and is said to benefit from a good amount of passing trade.

Derek Burgoyne of Cornerstone Business Agents, which is marketing the freehold of the property at £495,000, described the hotel as a “very exciting opportunity”.
